GREEN DAY - MOUNTAIN VIEW SHORELINE CA SEPTEMBER 4

LAST US TOUR DATE OF GREEN DAY'S TOUR FOR 21st Century Breakdown

It was a really good set list and everything except for the fact that it was sold out in a blink of an eye so I got seats right by the lawn and people stood up the whole time, which meant no seeing the band on stage unless jumped up or something. I got some video footage though.

They played for about 3 hours and A.F.I opened for them. They are both local bands, live by me and I did see Davey Havok at Whole Foods a few years back. They were good too. Of course they got pranked by Green Day because it was the last show with them. So they dressed up as animals and came out while AFI was performing. Then when Green Day was performing King for a Day/Shout, AFI came out dressed up as a bunch of Santa Clauses. That part was funny. There was of course a bunny that came out before Green Day, which is known as the "drunk bunny" which was entertaining but far away.

Also the whole first section was allowed to go on stage at one point, which looked fun. There was also a lot of other audience involvement with Shout and Longview and Are We The Waiting. That can get annoying because most of the time, the participants can't sing or don't know the words. I did like the one who went up to sing part of shout, which everyone on stage got to sing in, this one line they kept repeating, that was awesome.

Billie Joe also sang a lot of different parts of random songs including Santa Claus is Coming to Town, Highway to Hell, Baba O'Reily, Hey Jude....and much much more.
They really always have amazing shows, especially this year, I have heard, so if you get the change, try to see them, even if you don't like them that much. Okay if you hate them, then don't go but if you like at least one of their songs then go!

Scott Pilgrim vs. The World

Soo I think this movie is based on a coool comic book so the movie was like a video game/comic book. So if someone hit something a word would come up like bang! Also there was lots of music playing because everyone was in a band. When they would hit the drums, lots of lightning bults and bursts of colors would vibrate out of the instruments. It was awesome and very creative. It does not seem like it is making much at the box office but I think that is because the advertisements for it don't seem to show the uniqueness of it.
Even though it is still Michael Cera playing the same character, it is still interesting and a new kind of movie that at least, kept me guessing the whole time about what would happen next. It was never bored and it was quite funny.
It was also quite cold, taking place in a very cold snowy time in Toronto, Canada. I also went into the movie theater on a warm, sunny summer day and came out to a huge grey cloud covering the sky and cold breeziness. But anyways, I think if you are a creative person that enjoys silly and funny movies with some cool colors then you should see this!
It also has a lot of random faces you might recognize.
There is also a scene with competing bands battle that is very intense, I think they sing this song during it.
